MOSCA. Il secondo pilota del jet russo abbattuto ieri dall'aviazione turca è stato tratto in salvo: lo ha detto il presidente russo Vladimir Putin. Il ministro della Difesa Serghiei Shoigu ha precisato che il pilota "è sano e salvo" e si trova in una base russa nella zona della Siria controllata da Mosca. Intanto "Il mondo con il fiato sospeso", "Il mondo in bilico", "La crisi dei missili turca". La stampa britannica prende oggi sul serio le possibili conseguenze dell'abbattimento da parte della Turchia di un jet militare russo al confine siriano. E se anche negli articoli di alcuni giornali non manca la previsione, o piuttosto l'auspicio, che tutto possa essere circoscritto a qualche reazione economica da parte di Mosca e che l'Occidente sia in grado di convincere il Cremlino a evitare un'escalation, il timore nei titoli la fa da padrone. Con i tabloid pronti a far proprie le parole del presidente russo sulla "coltellata alla schiena" ricevuta da Ankara e a evocare scenari almeno potenzialmente catastrofici; ma anche giornali piu' posati a sottolineare "il furore di Putin" (Independent, Daily Telegraph) o "il monito di Putin" (Financial Times). L'atteggiamento prevalentemente anti-russo delle testate londinesi, caratterizzato negli ultimi mesi da un largo spazio concesso a toni da nuova guerra fredda, cede del resto il passo a una lettura piu' meditata. Cosi', pur sottolineando come la Russia fosse stata "ripetutamente avvertita" su presunti episodi di sconfinamento recenti, vari commentatori evocano la necessità d'evitare ora una rottura con Mosca nella lotta all'Isis.
