SANAA. Cinque piccole bombe sono esplose nel centro di Sanaa, uccidendo un membro di una milizia sciita. Lo riferiscono fonti mediche locali.  La prima esplosione è avvenuta in un vecchio quartiere di Sanaa, quando i miliziani ha cercato di disinnescare una bomba piazzata sotto l'auto di un giudice. Un miliziano è rimasto ferito ed è morto successivamente in ospedale. Altre bombe sono esplose in cassonetti della spazzatura, senza causare vittime. Miliziani sciiti, conosciuti come Houthi, hanno preso il controllo Sanaa il 21 settembre. I miliziani stanno cercano di estendere la loro influenza nelle zone costiere e nelle regioni meridionali, ma si trovano ad affrontare la resistenza delle tribù sunnite e di al Qaida.
