ROMA. Il presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella e il premier Matteo Renzi condannano fermamente le violenze dei black bloc a Milano a margine della inaugurazione dell'Expo. "Violenza tanto più esecrabile - ha detto il capo dello Stato - in quanto rivolta contro un evento che ha come obiettivo la nutrizione del pianeta, la lotta alla fame e alla denutrizione e un ordine mondiale fondato su una maggiore equità tra i paesi ricchi e quelli in via di sviluppo".

Il Capo dello Stato, nell'auspicare che i responsabili delle violenze siano al più presto assicurati alla giustizia, ha dato la sua piena solidarietà alle forze dell'ordine e ai cittadini di Milano, "vittime di pesanti danneggiamenti". In sintonia con il presidente della Repubblica la presa di posizione di Palazzo Chigi che, nel sottolineare come il volto autentico di Milano sia quello, positivo, nobile e bello, dell'apertura dell'Expo al Mondo, avverte: il lavoro per questa manifestazione "non sarà insultato dai violenti e da questi vigliacchi incappucciati".
